Brief:
Responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting hotel engineering systems, ensuring all equipment functions efficiently, safely, and in accordance with hotel standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair engineering systems and equipment, including air conditioning, electrical, water supply, wastewater treatment, pumps, and generators.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure all hotel facilities operate efficiently and safely.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, guest concerns, and emergency situations according to operational priorities.
- Monitor equipment performance and report technical issues to the Maintenance Manager.
- Maintain engineering tools, equipment, spare parts, and inventory in good condition.
- Ensure technical areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.
- Coordinate with other departments and external contractors to resolve maintenance issues effectively.
- Participate in technical training programs and continuously improve professional knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar maintenance or engineering position, preferably in hotels or resorts.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water treatment, and general building maintenance systems.
- Ability to diagnose technical issues and perform maintenance and repair work independently.
- Good understanding of workplace safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergency situations.
- Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related fields.
- Intermediate English communication skills are preferred.
