Assistant Front Office Manager

Brief:
Oversee Front Office operations, ensuring service quality, efficiency, safety, and staff professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the hotel’s image and maintain a professional attitude both during and outside of working hours.
  • Assist in the daily management of the Front Office department, ensuring compliance with service standards.
  • Manage expenses and optimize revenue through room and service sales.
  • Monitor and analyze operational results and propose solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure proper implementation of check-in, check-out, reservations, guest requests, and complaint handling procedures.
  • Supervise, train, and assign tasks to staff; inspect the quality of work performed.
  • Build good relationships with colleagues and all hotel staff.
  • Consistently support, encourage, motivate, and assist team members.
  • Oversee compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), rehabilitation, and environmental protection regulations.
  • Report and handle hazardous situations; review work processes to improve safety.
  • Coordinate with departments and contractors to promote the implementation of OH&S, EEO, rehabilitation, and environmental policies.
  • Ensure cleanliness, workplace safety, and proper conduct standards among staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience handling all functions of the Front Office department.
  • Ability to work in a computer-based environment and handle multitasking effectively.
  • Language: Proficient in English (both spoken and written).
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to review, evaluate, and make reasonable business decisions when solving problems.
  • Good presentation skills.
