Brief:
Responsible for supporting daily bar operations, ensuring excellent beverage service, maintaining operational standards, and guiding the bar team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Support the daily operation of the bar and ensure service standards are consistently maintained.
- Prepare and serve beverages according to hotel recipes, presentation standards, and operating procedures.
- Guide, support, and train Bartenders to ensure service quality and smooth daily operations.
- Monitor bar setup, cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout all operating periods.
- Promote beverages, recommend products, and apply upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Monitor inventory levels, beverage supplies, and bar equipment to minimize wastage and ensure operational readiness.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally while escalating major issues to management when necessary.
- Assist in shift briefings, task allocation, daily reporting, and communication between the bar and other departments.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Bartender or Bar Captain within a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beverage preparation, and bar operations.
- Good leadership and team support skills with the ability to guide junior team members.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English communication; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of inventory control, beverage costing, and stock management is preferred.
