Receptionist

Brief:

Assist guests with check-in, check-out, and inquiries while ensuring smooth front office operations and excellent service.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and register guests according to hotel procedures.
  • Handle check-in, check-out, room changes, and billing accurately.
  • Provide information on room rates, promotions, and hotel services.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping for early check-in, late check-out, and special requests.
  • Maintain accurate guest accounts and process payments promptly.
  • Answer phone calls and guest inquiries with professional etiquette.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
  • Control room keys, ensure proper posting of charges, and prepare daily reports.
  • Keep updated on hotel activities, meetings, and software systems.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Front Office Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in hotel management field.
  • Experience with same position in other 4 – 5 star hotel is preferred.
  • Dynamic, willing to learn.
  • Service-oriented and highly responsive to guest concerns and interests.
  • Good communication in English both written and oral.
